Get ready for the next battle - Tekken 7

Tekken 7, The latest entry in the Tekken series by NAMCO, promised the fans of the series an entire new experience from its predecessors,  and by watching the trailer and location test videos we can say that they have the walk for their talk.

New Characters and New looks

The videos and tests that are held in Japan reveals 2 new playable characters under the names Claudio and Katarina. The new characters reveal their own fighting styles in which Tekken has been renowned for.

While the addition of the characters are certainly a flare in the excitement among fans, We also see how Tekken 7 had incorporated the new character looks which was first implemented in the console only release game - Tekken Revolution

The New System

Tekken 7 offers a new system in the game that would throw out what players have learned and practiced during its earlier versions out of the window.

One of the most notable things that was removed was the bounce system which is the ability to bounce an opponent in the floor to extend a combo.  In Tekken revolution, the bounce was removed to give the game mechanics similar to Tekken 3 and was then incorporated in the upcoming release.

While this seems like a step back for the game, They introduced the Power Crush and the Rage arts system.

The power crush system enables the player to be able to continue attacking without flinching even when getting hit. In the earlier games, players can gaining momentum by making sure the enemy cannot fight back, which makes the power crush a game changer.

The Rage arts system has broken Tekken's streak for not having "super attack moves".

Introduced in Tekken 6, the rage system only gives the player a boost in damage dealt when the life bar blinks red to increase the chance of a comeback victory. In Tekken 7, The rage arts is a powerful move unique to each character that can only be executed by during rage mode, should the move hit, it will release a devastating damage along with a flashy cinematic .

While a lot of changes have been revealed, fans among social media has mix reactions on how the game would play out for them. Currently, the game has no release date yet, but fans are truly excited to test out Tekken7 in their own.
